MY BACK GROUND
I have been in private practice working primarily with young adults for the past 13 years.  I have taught high school, run a drug rehabilitation school for teens, and provided college counseling.  I am deeply spiritual and believe we all have the ability to shape our destiny and hear the voice of our divine intuition.
I have been married for the past twelve years to the love of my life and college sweet heart, where we live in the Bay Area with our two young child and our super dog, a Labrador Retriever named Piper.

MY APPROACH TO THERAPY
I believe that adolescents are gifted with creativity and inspiration, but sometimes have difficulty communicating their needs and are often misunderstood by the adults around them.  This leads to feelings of isolation and an inability to see the consequences for their decisions.  I think my role as their therapist is to lovingly assist them on their journey and help them grasp the importance of their actions.
My approach to my work is to see the inner beauty and spirit of each of my clients.  I use humor, logic, the Intuitive Arts and a little Freudian thinking to help them reach a deeper understanding of themselves and what they want from their lives. Therapy should be one of the richest and most fulfilling experiences of their lives - where they are accepted for who they are and look forward to becoming who they want to be.

FOR YOUR OWN GROWTH
If you are in need of therapy and my approach feels compatible with your own philosophy, please contact me at the email address listed above - I will look forward to hearing from you.
